Tim Martin

TIM MARTIN is the Chairman of JD Wetherspoon Plc. Mr Martin graduated
from Nottingham University in 1977 and qualified as a barrister in 1979.
In December 1979, he opened the first Wetherspoon pub, aged 24. In 1992,
he floated Wetherspoon on the London Stock Market with 44 pubs. Today,
there are approximately 470 pubs. Mr Martin is married and has four
children.
