Thomas M. Redman

THOMAS M. REDMAN is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of
The MIIX Group, Inc., responsible for financial operations. Mr. Redman
joined MIIX in 1997 and previously held positions as Assistant Vice
President Finance, Vice President Finance, and Senior Vice President,
Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for the MIIX Insurance Companies.
He was promoted to his present position in 1999. Before joining MIIX,
Mr. Redman held a number of finance positions over an eight year period
with John Hancock Financial Services, culminating in the positions of
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of John Hancock
Management Company and President of John Hancock Insurance Company of
Bermuda, Ltd. Previously, he spent six years at Ernst & Young, auditing
and consulting in the insurance industry. Mr. Redman received a Bachelor
of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Marietta College, and a Doctor of
Law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School. He has lectured on
insurance and is the co-author of A New Look At Evaluating the Financial
Condition of Property and Casualty Insurance and Reinsurance Companies,
published by the Casualty Actuarial Society.
