Thomas M. Ray is the President and CEO of CoreSite Realty Corporation. Prior to the company’s IPO, Mr. Ray also served as a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, focusing upon opportunities for the firm’s real estate funds and leading those funds’ activities in the data center sector. Previously, Mr. Ray held roles of increasing responsibility with the Security Capital Group of companies. Prior to that, he practiced real estate and transactional law. Mr. Ray received his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin Graduate School of Business. He received a J.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Law and a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Denver.
