Thomas L. Horgan

THOMAS L. HORGAN became the interim CEO of Maxwell Technologies, Inc.,
in November 1998. The experience that he brought to the team was vital
to the reshaping of the company’s business operations. Mr. Horgan joined
Maxwell as Vice President of Business Development in May 1996, and was
elected to the Board of Directors in 1997. Before joining Maxwell, Mr.
Horgan held a series of Senior positions in the computer industry, most
recently with Connor Peripherals, where he was part of a management team
that restructured the company in preparation for a successful merger.
Mr. Horgan received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a
Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University College of
Dublin, Ireland. He and his wife, Lolai, reside with their daughter,
Sinead, in La Jolla, California.
