Thomas L. Finkbiner

THOMAS L. FINKBINER is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Quality Distribution, Inc., the largest truck hauler of bulk
chemicals in North America and based in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining
Quality Distribution in 1999, Mr. Finkbiner held senior executive
positions with Norfolk Southern Corporation (1987-1999) and North
American Van Lines, Inc. (1981-1987). He also held positions at Airborne
Freight Corporation and Roadway Express. Mr. Finkbiner is Chairman of
the Intermodal Transportation Institute at the University of Denver and
serves on the Board of Directors of Pacer International, a publicly held
logistics company. Previously, he served on the U.S. Department of
Transportation’s National Motor Carrier Advisory Committee. He earned
his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with honors at Rutgers
University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
