Thomas J. Bigger

Thomas J. Bigger has served as the President, Chief Executive Officer
and a Director of Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since September 1999.
Mr. Bigger has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical
industry in both large and small companies, most recently as Senior Vice
President of Magainin Pharmaceuticals from 1996-1999, and as Senior Vice
President of Advanced Polymer Systems from 1994-1996. From 1980-1994,
Mr. Bigger held a series of positions with increasing responsibility at
Rhone Poulenc Rorer (RPR), including serving as President of Dernik
Laboratories, a wholly owned subsidiary of RPR.
