Thomas Gallucci is a Managing Director and Senior Analyst covering health care services. Prior to joining Lazard Capital Markets LLC in May 2009, he worked at Merrill Lynch for 10 years, primarily focused on the health care distribution and pharmacy benefit management subsectors, the health care facilities space, and the retail drug business. In 2008, Mr. Galluci had the unique honor of being simultaneously named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research team in two separate categories, health care distribution/technology and health care facilities. Similarly, Mr. Galluci was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research team every year from 2004 to 2008 in the health care distribution/technology category. In 2003, he was designated by Institutional Investor as one of the top Up-and-Coming Analysts on the Street. He has also consistently ranked in the top tier of the Greenwich Associates survey in the health care distribution category. As an indicator of his stock-picking abilities, Mr. Gallucci placed fourth in The Wall Street Journal’s Best on the Street Analysts survey for 2008, and he was named one of eight Institutional Investor “Home-Run Hitters” in 2001. He began his career in health care services equity research in 1995 at Credit Suisse First Boston and worked at The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc., from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young. Mr. Gallucci holds a B.S. in accounting from Lehigh University.
