Thomas Adams

THOMAS ADAMS is Executive Vice President and CFO of Reynolds American, Inc. He joined the company in 1999 as Senior Vice President and Controller of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc. He was named Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Reynolds American and R.J. Reynolds in 2004, and became Senior Vice President, Business Processes, for R.J. Reynolds in 2005. Mr. Adams was named Senior Vice President, Business Processes, of Reynolds American in 2006, and Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for RAI in 2007. He assumed his current position in 2008. Previously, Mr. Adams was a partner at the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Duke University.
