T. A. Grell

T. A. GRELL JR. is President and Chief Operating Officer of
Resource Bankshares Corporation. Mr. Grell joined Resource in
December 1998, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer
of the bank and Executive Vice President of Resource Bankshares
Corporation. He has served as a Director of Resource since 2000
and was named President of the holding company in 2001. From 1984
until joining Resource, Mr. Grell was a Senior Officer at Central
Fidelity Bank which was acquired by Wachovia Bank. He has more
than 30 years’ experience in the banking industry and is active
in civic affairs. He currently serves as a Vice President of the
Virginia Association of Community Banks.
