Stuart Weisman

STUART WEISMAN, MD is the Founder, President and CEO of ePhysician. He
spent 12 years building one of the preeminent gastroenterology practices
and was selected by Focus Magazine as one of the top 100 physicians in
the Bay Area in 1992 before founding ePhysician in July 1998. In
addition to his medical practice and ePhysician, Dr. Weisman has founded
several other healthcare ventures. In 1996, he conceived, developed and
served as Medical Director of the Sequoia Hospital Endoscopy Center. The
following year, Dr. Weisman founded and directed Doctors Organized for
Comprehensive Services (DOSC), a multi-specialty independent practice
association. He holds a BS in Biochemistry with highest honors from the
State University of New York at Stony Brook and an MD with Honors from
the New York University School of Medicine where he was also elected
membership into the honorary medical fraternity, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr.
Weisman completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at
the New York Hospital and a Fellowship in gastroenterology and
hepatology at the Yale University School of Medicine.
