Stuart Abelson

Stuart Abelson is President and CEO of Ora, Inc., a leading independent
ophthalmic drug and device development firm. He has been a Director since 1995
and served as the company’s Chairman from 1997 until his appointment as
President in 2007. Prior to joining Ora in an operating capacity, Mr. Abelson
served in various positions at Amphenol Corporation, including Director of
Technical Business Development. From 1999 through 2005, he served as General
Manager of Amphenol’s fiber optic product division. Mr. Abelson graduated Phi
Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in neuroscience from Bates
College. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of
Management. Mr. Abelson is a Trustee of Bates College and of the Chicago
Zoological Society, and he serves on the Alumni Council of the Kellogg School of
Management..
