Steven E. Schaefer

STEVEN E. SCHAEFER is Senior Vice President, Business Development, of
Rewards Plus. As Senior Vice President of Business Development at
Rewards Plus, Mr. Schaefer manages legal and compliance, mergers and
acquisitions, and oversees investigation and integration of strategic
partnerships. He is also responsible for running the SureTech line of
business that offers private labeled technology solutions to benefit
providers, financial institutions and insurance carriers. Previously,
Mr. Schaefer served as Chief Financial Officer for Rewards Plus,
completing four rounds of financing totaling over $90 million, and CFO
and Treasurer for several technology corporations, one of them
FiberTech, the nation’s leading independent provider of high-tech
medical equipment service for surgical and endoscopic applications.
Under his four years of direction as CPA, and later Board member and
Executive Manager, FiberTech dramatically increased revenues, completed
six successful acquisitions, expanded into three foreign markets, and
opened nine profitable regional service facilities. Mr. Schaefer has
also cultivated business and financial experience with six years of
audit, public accounting and consulting at Mercantile Bank & Trust and
Laventhol & Horwath and Meehan & Roby, CPAs. He is a graduate of Drexel
University, with a BS degree in Finance and a BS degree in Accounting,
and is a member of the MACPA and AICPA.
