Stephen Webster

STEPHEN WEBSTER was first appointed to the Board of Wolseley Plc on
August 1, 1994 as Group Finance Director designate. He was appointed as
Group Finance Director on December 9, 1994. He is a member of the
Treasury Committee. Mr. Webster was formerly a partner in Price
Waterhouse and is a Chartered Accountant. Currently, he is the Chairman
of the Midland Industry Group of Finance Directors.
