Stefan Antonsson

Stefan Antonsson is President of Xanodyne Pharmacal. An innovative and
proven business leader, he possesses 18 years of sales, marketing, and
business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Before
joining Xanodyne, Mr. Antonsson served as Vice President, Corporate
Business Development for Vela Pharmaceuticals Inc., a privately held
start-up pharmaceutical company focused on the identification,
development, and commercialization of agents for treating psychiatric
and neurological disorders. Previously, he led the marketing efforts at
Richwood Pharmaceuticals (subsequently acquired by Shire) as the Vice
President of Marketing. As a key member of the management team at
Richwood/Shire, he helped drive sales from $4.5 million in 1995 to over
$400 million in 2000. Prior to Richwood, Stefan participated on the
senior marketing management team at Forest Laboratories. He began his
pharmaceutical career as a sales representative with Pharmacia, and
later joined their marketing department. Mr. Antonsson is a graduate of
Columbia College and earned his MBA in Marketing at the New York
University Stern School of Business.
