Shaun R. Hayes

SHAUN R. HAYES has been President and CEO of Allegiant Bancorp,
Inc., and Allegiant Bank since May 1992. He co-founded Allegiant
Bancorp, Inc., St. Louis, Missouri, in 1989. He has been in the
banking industry for 20 years, seven years with United Missouri
Bank and 13 years with Allegiant Bank. Mr. Hayes is a graduate of
the University of Missouri at Columbia and Stonier Graduate
School of Banking, University of Delaware. He has served on the
Board of Directors and as a volunteer for several metropolitan
St. Louis not-for-profit and charitable organizations. Mr. Hayes
recently received the 2002 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Award.
