Sean Robert Gallagher

SEAN ROBERT GALLAGHER is the lead analyst within Eduventures’
postsecondary practice. He is responsible for providing market analysis
and insight that will support the development and execution of corporate
strategy for many of Eduventures’ postsecondary clients. His research
and advisory work have primarily focused on assessing trends and drivers
in the higher education landscape, ranging from analyzing technology
infrastructure and online distance learning markets to evaluating the
competitive positioning and strategies of educational institutions and
product and service providers. Mr. Gallagher’s published research
includes Health Sciences Education Under the Microscope, Distance
Learning at the Tipping Point, and After the Big Bang: Higher Education
Markets Get Set to Consolidate. He is a frequent speaker at numerous
education conferences each year, and his research and analysis have been
cited in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CBS
MarketWatch, Investor’s Business Daily, and numerous other publications.
Prior to joining Eduventures, Mr. Gallagher worked in the technology
practice of public relations firm Manning Selvage & Lee, as a systems
analyst and network administrator at Union International Systems, and as
a technology consultant at Kranberry Systems, a firm he founded in 1995.
Mr. Gallagher holds a BS in marketing from Northeastern University,
where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
