Scott Colyer has served as the CEO and CIO of Advisors Asset Management, Inc., since 1998. Previously, Mr. Colyer served as First Vice President of both Prudential Securities, Inc., and PaineWebber, Inc. With more than 25 years of industry experience, Mr. Colyer has become a highly respected and accomplished fixed-income strategist and investment counselor whose insight is frequently featured in leading financial media outlets, such as Barron’s, The Bond Buyer, BusinessWeek, CNBC, CNNMoney, Fortune, Fox Business TV, InvestmentNews, MarketWatch, Pensions & Investments, TheStreet and The Wall Street Journal. He also is a member of the Forbes Intelligent Investing Panel. Mr. Colyer earned his bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University in 1982 and his J.D. cum laude from the Washburn University School of Law in 1985.
