Samuel Cooperman

SAMUEL COOPERMAN is the CEO of Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group Ltd.,
which consists of Stolt Parcel Tankers, Inc., Stolt Tank Containers and
Stolthaven. Previous to this appointment, Mr. Cooperman served as
President and Chief Executive Officer of Stolt Parcel Tankers, Inc. and
was responsible for the marketing, operational and ship owning
activities. Mr. Cooperman joined Stolt-Nielsen in 1974. Mr. Cooperman
has BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University
and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively, and an MBA from Temple
University. His previous employment includes four years with a major
computer manufacturer and two years with a major consulting firm. Mr.
Cooperman is a resident of Greenwich, Connecticut and serves on the
Board of Directors for SoundWaters and the Greenwich Chamber of
Commerce.
