Samuel Addoms

SAMUEL ADDOMS is President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director for
Frontier Airlines at its headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Addoms
served as Executive Vice President, Treasurer and a Director for
Frontier during its pre-startup phase, from 1993 through 1994. During
the pre-startup period, he provided financial expertise and helped
develop a comprehensive business plan for the new Frontier. In September
1994, he was named President and on January 1, 1995, he was named Chief
Executive Officer. Prior to his involvement with Frontier, Addoms served
as an officer, director or consultant with over 15 early stage companies
in a variety of industries. In addition, he spent one year as an
instructor at the University of Northern Colorado’s Business School.
Over his 35 years in management, Mr. Addoms spent considerable time in
the banking industry, serving as Vice President of Continental Illinois
National Bank in Chicago and later as President of Denver National Bank.
He also was Chief Financial Officer with Monfort of Colorado, Inc. from
1972 through 1980 and he was appointed President and Chief Executive
Officer of Monfort in 1976. In addition to Frontier Airlines, Addoms
currently sits on the Boards of Communications World in Englewood,
Colorado and of Walsh Environmental in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Addoms
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Literature from
Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He is a 26-year Colorado
resident and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, their three
children and six grandchildren.
