Russell Horner

RUSSELL HORNER is President and Chief Executive Officer of Norske Skog
Canada Limited. A senior pulp and paper executive with Canadian and
international industry experience, Mr. Horner successfully guided the
merger of Norske Skog Canada and Pacifica Papers to form NorskeCanada in
August 2001. Since then, he has led the successful effort to capture
more than $100 million in synergies created by bringing the two
companies together. Before assuming leadership of NorskeCanada, he
served as Chief Operating Officer Australasia for Fletcher Challenge
Paper, President and Chief Operating Officer of Fletcher Challenge
Canada.
