Robin Spry

ROBIN SPRY is President and CEO of Telescene Film Group Inc. Mr. Spry
has produced and directed more than 10 feature films, worked on numerous
television dramas and documentaries, and directed commercials as well as
industrials for major corporations and organizations. His exceptional
work has been acknowledged with numerous awards, including the Genie
(Canada’s Academy Award), the George F. Peabody Award and the Robert
Flaherty Award at the British Academy Awards. He has directed the
features ‘Keeping Track,’ ‘Obsessed,’ ‘One Man,’ ‘Drying Up,’ ‘The
Streets,’ ‘Suzanne,’ ‘Prologue,’ ‘A Cry in the Night’ and ‘Action,’ a
documentary feature. For television, he helmed many episodes of ‘Urban
Angel’ and PBS’s ‘The Brain,’ as well as serving as Executive Producer
on the Emmy-nominated miniseries ‘Hiroshima,’ produced for Showtime, and
Co-Executive Producer on season one of ‘The Hunger.’ Mr. Spry most
recently executive produced the sitcoms ‘Student Bodies,’ ‘Big Wolf on
Campus’ and ‘Misguided Angels.’ He also executive produced season two of
the erotic sci-fi anthology series ‘The Hunger,’ the first four projects
under the AAN (Action Adventure Network) banner, ‘Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle’s The Lost World,’ ‘Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,’ ‘Fearless’ and
‘Matthew Blackheart,’ as well as MTV’s first-ever original hour drama,
the music-driven series ‘Live Through This.’
