Robert W. Howard

ROBERT W. HOWARD has been Senior Vice President – Investor Relations,
Corporate Development and Treasurer of Barrett Resources Corporation
since February 1999. Prior to February 1999, he served as Senior Vice
President -Finance. Mr. Howard has been the Treasurer of the company
since March 1986. He joined the company as controller in January 1983.
Before joining Barrett Resources, Mr. Howard was associated with
certified public accounting firms in Omaha, Minneapolis and Denver.
