Robert H. Hunsberger

Robert H. HUNSBERGER, Chairman and CEO, has led Metawave Communications
Corporation since July 1997 and is responsible for building the
company’s businesses, as well as for taking the company through its
initial public offering in April 2000. Prior to Metawave, he was Senior
Vice President and General Manager of Siemens Wireless Terminals, an
organization he led from its inception. Previously, he spent 14 years
with Nortel in a variety of senior executive positions. Most recently,
Mr. Hunsberger was Vice President of Wireless Sales and Marketing, a
role in which he built a $600-million, 400-person organization
responsible for the marketing, sales, and service of cellular and PCS
products throughout North America. He holds a BS in Commerce from the
University of Virginia and an MBA from Arizona State University.
