Robert F. Bernard

ROBERT F. BERNARD, Chairman and CEO of Whittman-Hart, Inc., founded the
company in 1984. He manages and directs the company’s Executive
Committee, which is responsible for implementing corporate strategy and
identifying business development opportunities. In addition to founding
Whittman-Hart, Mr. Bernard’s professional experience extends to the
following concerns: member, Special Events Board, Marklund’s Children’s
Home; member, Dean’s Advisory Board, Lumpkin College of Business,
Eastern Illinois University; past-President, The INC. Council of Growing
Companies, Illinois Chapter; Founder and past-President, Illinois Mid-
Range User Group. His numerous awards and honors comprise various well-
known organizations: KPMG Peat Marwick, Illinois High Tech Entrepreneur
of the Year, 1992; ‘Crain’s Chicago Business’, Who’s Who in Chicago
Business, 1993; ‘Crain’s Chicago Business’, 40 Under 40 list, 1997;
Ernst & Young, Illinois and Northwest Indiana Service Entrepreneur of
the Year, 1998. He is also a volunteer and a sponsor in diverse
community services. Mr. Bernard holds an Associate’s degree in Business
from Ball State University as well as several Certifications in
Entrepreneurial Seminars from the University of Chicago, the University
of Illinois, Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania.
