Robert E. Evans

ROBERT E. EVANS is President & CEO of Peoples Bancorp Inc. As
President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Evans was instrumental
in the organization of this bank holding company in 1980 and has
served in this capacity from its inception. Peoples Bancorp is a
bank holding company incorporated in the State of Ohio, with
headquarters in Marietta, Ohio. It is the parent corporation for
Peoples Bank, National Association, with offices in Ohio, West
Virginia and Kentucky. Mr. Evans has served as an elected
delegate from Ohio to the Banking Leadership Conference of the
American Bankers Association. Mr. Evans now serves as State
Chairman for Ohio for the American Bankers Association and has
served on the Government Relations Council. Mr. Evans has served
as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Bankers
Association and has served as the elected President of the Ohio
Bankers Association, Trust Division. He has served on several
committees of the Ohio Bankers Association. Mr. Evans has served
as a Director on the Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank,
Cincinnati, Ohio.
