Rob Roy

Rob Roy is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Switch
Communications Group LLC, a private company in Las Vegas that provides co-
location infrastructure and services. Mr. Roy led the development of one of the
nation’s premier network access points, the Nevada NAP, and more recently the
company’s latest data center facility, the SuperNAP. The company considers
itself “the leading provider of carrier-class co-location, disaster avoidance
services and superior redundant Internet bandwidth products in the western
United States. Before founding Switch, Mr. Roy spent more than a decade in
various positions in the construction industry in Nevada and Wisconsin,
including serving as General Manager of one of the fastest growing homebuilding
companies in Southern Nevada. He is chairman of the Nevada Development
Authority’s Technology Action Group, a member of the UNLV MIS Department’s
advisory board and a director of the Technology Business Alliance of Nevada.
