Rob Orgel

ROB ORGEL, Vice President, Corporate and Business Development at edocs,
Inc., is responsible for edocs’ business and corporate development
activities. In this role, he leads merger and acquisition related
efforts and is heavily involved in new market initiatives. Mr. Orgel
also guides edocs’ strategy for selecting partners, structuring partner
and customer relationships, and building effective long-term partner and
customer relationships. He brings substantial experience working with
software and technology companies on strategy formulation, sales and
marketing effectiveness, and operations effectiveness. As an engagement
manager in McKinsey and Company’s Silicon Valley office, he helped some
of the largest and most successful US technology companies develop and
implement broad strategic and product initiatives. As an active member
of McKinsey’s software practice, he was involved extensively in
strategic planning for companies in the enterprise resource planning and
e-commerce markets. Prior to joining McKinsey, he was a practicing
Attorney with the San Francisco-based law firm of Brobeck, Phleger &
Harrison LLC. At Brobeck, he focused on public equity offerings, mergers
and acquisitions, venture capital financing, joint ventures and
technology licensing. He holds a BA and MA in International Policy
studies from Stanford University and a Law degree from Harvard Law
School.
