Ricky D. McCord

RICKY D. McCORD has served as Director, President and Chief Operating
Officer since the inception of HORIZON Pharmacies, Inc. in February,
1994. Previous to HORIZON Pharmacies, Inc., Mr. McCord was employed by
True Quality Pharmacies, Inc., a multi-location, multi-state retail
pharmacy chain, from 1977 through 1993. During his employment with True
Quality Pharmacies, Inc., Mr. McCord served as pharmacist and store
manager from 1977 to 1982, as a district manager from 1982 to 1992 and
as a director from 1980 to 1990. Mr. McCord graduated in December, 1976,
from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He received the degree of
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He has been a registered pharmacist in
the state of Texas since 1977. He was born on July 3, 1954 and raised in
Leonard, Texas, a small town located 60 miles northeast of Dallas,
Texas. In 1992, Mr. McCord returned to his hometown to live. He is
married and has three children. His hobbies include fishing, snow skiing
and sports.
