Richard Yerbury

RICHARD YERBURY is the Chief Executive of SpringHealth Leisure Plc. Mr
Yerbury joined one of GEC’s subsidiaries after graduating from Bristol
University. He joined ARC Limited, the aggregate group, in 1988 to set
up a new leisure development division. Soon after the takeover of ARC
Plc by Hanson Plc, he held a number of positions within Hanson’s
property companies, culminating in his appointment as Managing Director
of Hanson Land Development Limited, responsible for that group’s land,
leisure and managed property interests. In 1994, as Managing Director,
he joined Embassy Property Group Plc which, in 1995, acquired Skillion
Limited and completed a merger with Jacobs Holdings Plc. In recent years
he has been involved with a number of golf and leisure related projects.
He was Chief Executive of London Scottish Rugby Plc between 1996 and
1998.
