Richard J. Gustafson

RICHARD J. GUSTAFSON co-founded Eoscene Corporation in 1999, and
assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. He
is responsible for the initial concept, prototype and development
efforts for the Eoscene Intelligence Portal 2001. His other
responsibilities include development and administration of
Eoscene’s organizational structure, such as incorporation, hiring
of key management and professional services, and fundraising.
Previous to launching Eoscene, Mr. Gustafson was Corporate
Director of IT at Penford Corporation, where he led development
and implementation of an enterprise business system strategy,
Wide Area Network and communications platform supporting three
distinct operating divisions. He also hired and led a team that
gained international recognition for its innovative
implementation of a major ERP system in a pharmaceutical
division. Prior to Penford Corporation, Mr. Gustafson held a
variety of senior positions at the Boeing Company, including
financial management of purchased raw materials and machined
parts. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from
Oregon State University.
