Richard Barton

RICHARD BARTON became Chief Executive Officer and Director of
Displaytech, Inc., during 2002. He joined Displaytech as Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer in 1998. Before joining
Displaytech, he directed manufacturing for Planar Systems, Inc.,
a leading producer of electro-luminescent display panels. Mr.
Barton directed manufacturing for Lowrance Electronics, a
consumer electronics manufacturer, and has had experience in key
engineering and management roles with venture startups Irwin
Magnetics and PC Technologies. Mr. Barton earned his BSEE from
Lawrence.
