Ricardo B. Levy

RICARDO B. LEVY is President & Chief Executive Officer of Catalytica,
Inc. Dr. Levy is a founder of Catalytica, which was established in 1974.
He has served as its President and CEO since 1991. Previous to
Catalytica, Dr. Levy was a founding member of the Chemical Physics
Research Team at Exxon Research and Engineering Company from 1972 to
1974. Dr. Levy obtained a B.S. from Stanford University in 1966, and
M.S. in 1967 from Princeton University, and a Ph.D. in chemical
engineering in 1972 from Stanford University. In 1989 he completed the
Owner/President management Program at the Harvard School of Business
Administration. Dr. Levy has authored over 14 papers and patents in the
field of catalysis and is co-author of a book entitled Catalysis in Coal
Conversion.
