Rene J. Robichaud

RENE J. ROBICHAUD, President and CEO of NS Group, Inc., joined the
company in June 1999 as its President and Chief Operating Officer and
was elected to the Board of Directors in July 1999. In February 2000, he
was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining
NS Group, Mr. Robichaud spent over 14 years in investment banking. He
has held the positions of Managing Director with Salomon Smith Barney
and Principal with Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Robichaud has worked on
capital raising and strategic transactions involving many basic
materials and steel companies around the world. He received his BBA from
the University of Ottawa, Magna Cum Laude, and his MBA from Harvard
University.
