Raymond Sozzi

RAYMOND SOZZI, JR. founded Student Advantage in 1992 and has served as
Chairman of the board of directors, President and Chief Executive
Officer since the company’s inception. Mr. Sozzi oversees all aspects
of the company’s growth, development and management. Wanting to own the
market that bridges the gap between businesses and the ‘purchasers of
tomorrow,’ he has molded Student Advantage into the nation’s most
trusted and comprehensive resource for the higher education experience.
Prior to founding Student Advantage, Mr. Sozzi spent two years at Bain
and Company as a specialist on youth marketing and media. He also
served as an independent consultant to the marketing department of The
New York Times, designing its on-campus distribution program. Most
recently, Mr. Sozzi was named the 1998 National Young Entrepreneur of
the Year’ by Ernst & Young and a ‘Marketer of the Next Generation’ by
Brandweek. In 1997, he was selected as one of the Top Ten Up and Coming
CEOs in America by Chief Executive Magazine. Mr. Sozzi received his
B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1990.
