Raymond E. Dellerba

RAYMOND E. DELLERBA is the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Pacific Mercantile Bank, located in Newport Beach. Mr. Dellerba was the
driving force behind opening the first new bank in Newport Beach in 15
years. Pacific Mercantile Bank, a full-service commercial, as well as
Internet bank, combines his vision of ‘high personal touch with high
tech’ serving both the commercial and the individual or professional
client within a community bank framework. Mr. Dellerba has worked in the
banking industry for over 30 years, most recently serving as President,
Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Eldorado Bank, and as Executive
Vice President and Director of Eldorado Bancorp, based in Tustin,
California. Mr. Dellerba has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management,
and a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Organizational
Management and Finance. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate work
at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business
Administration, with certificates issued in ‘Integrating Finance and
Marketing’ and in ‘Mergers and Acquisitions.’ Mr. Dellerba held senior
management positions with Orange County and Los Angeles-based banks for
over 20 years, gaining his initial major bank experience in Arizona. He
progressed through various lending and management positions, initially
at First National Bank of Arizona (formerly First Interstate Bank), then
joining Imperial Bank in 1978, and ascending through various positions
including Senior Vice President and Manager of the Orange County region.
He then joined Commerce Bank as Executive Vice President, Branch
Administrator, moving up to transitional President and Director. Mr.
Dellerba is active in numerous professional, educational, and community
activities. He is a member of the Board of Directors from the Mardan
Center for Educational Therapy and the Advisory Board for SNL Securities
out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Formerly he was with the Forum for
Corporate Directors, Board of Directors of the World Trade Center, the
Board of Trustees for the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, the University
of California, Irvine, Graduate School of Management Executive Survey
Advisory Board, the Small Business Administration Center of Rancho
Santiago College, the Orange County Business Council, and is a Loyola
Marymount University Center for Executive Learning Advisory Member.
