Randall Chase

RANDALL CHASE, Ph.D. joined North American Vaccine, Inc., from Pasteur
M_rieux Connaught (Canada) where he held the position of President and
Chief Executive Officer for Canada and Chairman of Pasteur M_rieux
Connaught Mexico. He brings broad-based experience in implementing
strategic planning objectives, executing alliances with multi-national
companies, government agencies as well as hospitals and universities and
also has extensive experience with all facets of operating a public
company including a strong investor and public relations background.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Chase held CEO and Senior Vice President
positions, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and
Executive Committee for Rhone-Poulenc (Canada) and Glaxo Canada, Inc.
In addition, he serves on several outside boards, including the Board of
North York General Hospital, BioTech Canada and the Innovations
Foundation of the University of Toronto. Dr. Chase holds a Doctorate in
Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia and performed his
Post Doctorate Fellowship with McArdle Cancer Institute, University of
Wisconsin.
