Ralph D. McRae

RALPH D. MCRAE is the Director and the Chairman, President and Chief
Executive Officer of Leading Brands, Inc. He has been involved directly
in the operations of the company since 1996. He is also a Director and
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quick, Inc., and a Director and
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of McRae Management Ltd. (a waste
management and bottled water company). Mr. McRae is also a principal of
Ralph D. McRae Law Corporation, a law corporation based in West
Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a member of the Bar of both the
Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Mr. McRae received a Bachelor
of Commerce degree in 1980 and an LLB in 1981 from the University of
British Columbia. He was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration in 1984.
