R. D. Cash

R. D. (DON) CASH was named Chairman of the Board of Questar Corporation
on May 14, 1985. On October 2, 1984, a major reorganization of the
company was approved, creating Questar Corporation, a new holding
company, at which time Mr. Cash became President and Chief Executive
Officer. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mountain
Fuel Supply Company, now Questar Gas, from March 1, 1982 and President
and Chief Operating Officer from November 1, 1980. Mr. Cash received a
degree in Engineering from Texas Tech University. Following employment
with Amoco Production Company from 1966-1976, he joined Mountain Fuel
Supply Company in 1976 as Vice President of Exploration and Drilling and
later became President of Wexpro Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary,
from 1979-1980. Mr. Cash serves on the Boards of Directors of Questar
Corporation and all of its subsidiaries; Zions Bancorporation; Zions
First National Bank; Interstate Natural Gas Association of America;
Independent Petroleum Association of America; AEGIS Insurance Services,
Inc.; and Utah Symphony. By appointment of the Secretary of Energy, he
serves on the National Petroleum Council. He is a trustee of the Salt
Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games; Utah Opera
Co.; Chairman of the Economic Development Corp. of Utah; member and past
Chairman of the Gas Technology Institute; member of the Board of Fellows
and past trustee of Southern Utah University; member and past Chairman
and Director of the Pacific Coast Gas Association (now the Western
Energy Institute); and past Director of the American Gas Association and
the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
Mr. Cash also is affiliated with several associations, including the
Society of Petroleum Engineers, Texas Tech University Academy of
Industrial Engineers, Utah National Guard Honorary Colonels Corps, and
the Salt Lake City Police Honorary Colonels.
