PIERRE DESPARS is Vice President, Finance and Corporate Affairs, Gaz
Mtro Limited Partnership. He is responsible for finance, treasury,
rates and regulation, information technologies and environmental
policies. management’s representative at Board of Directors, Audit
Committee and Pension Fund Committee meetings. He is a member of Boards
of Directors and committees of certain subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Mr. Despars started his career in Audit with KPMG in 1985. Four years
later (1989), he joined Imprimeries Qubcor as Plant Controller and
then Accounting Manager. In 1991, Mr. Despars moved to Gaz Mtro as
Coordinator, Regulatory Accounting. Over the years, he also worked in
the Regulatory and Finance Sectors. In 1996, he was appointed Vice
President, Administration and Regulatory Affairs. His responsibilities
have also included legal affairs and the Total Quality Division. In
August 2003, Mr. Despars was appointed Vice President, Finance and
Corporate Affairs. He has a CA, CMA and MBA (Executive-Concordia).
