Phillip W. Terry

Phillip W. Terry, President and CEO of Arena Resources, Inc., began his career
in 1970 with Mobil Oil Corporation and spent approximately seven years in the
Permian Basin with assignments including production engineering, operations
supervision, drilling, reservoir engineering and engineering supervision. His
career also includes employment by United Gas Pipeline, Unit Corporation, and
private independent oil and gas companies as a Manager and Corporate Officer. He
joined Arena Resources, Inc., in 2003 with responsibilities for all Arena
operations and engineering. He was named President and Chief Operating Officer
in February 2007, and Chief Executive Officer in May 2009. Mr. Terry obtained a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a
Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer.
