PHIL NALBONE joined Salomon Smith Barney in September 1999 to cover
small cap stocks within the medical supplies and technology sector and
recently assumed responsibility for the large cap medical technology
stocks. Before joining the firm, he spent nearly five years as a Partner
at Volpe Brown Whelan & Co., where his main focus was on emerging
medical technology companies. Prior to that, Mr. Nalbone spent two years
at Hambrecht & Quist Inc. as a Medical Products Analyst. He is a Phi
Beta Kappa graduate of St. Lawrence University.
