Peter Gray

PETER GRAY is ICON’s Group Chief Operating Officer. He joined ICON in
June 1997 as Chief Financial Officer, with the initial task of helping
the Company develop its financial and planning systems to support its
entry into the public markets a project that was completed in May 1998
with the company’s successful IPO. He subsequently became involved in
operational aspects of the business, culminating in his recent
appointment as COO. Mr. Gray has a degree in Law from Trinity College,
Dublin and also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Prior to
joining ICON, Mr. Gray was Chief Financial Officer of three other
publicly quoted companies including, from 1983 to 1989, Elan Corporation
plc., the Irish-based pharmaceutical company.
