Peter Dougherty

PETER DOUGHERTY is Vice President of Business Development and
Strategic Alliances at McDATA Corporation. He has more than 17
years’ experience designing and marketing storage, input/output,
and storage networking technologies. Prior to being promoted to
his current position, Mr. Dougherty was responsible for managing
McDATA’s software solutions, consisting of McDATA’s storage area
network (SAN) management applications and embedded software
products. Prior to joining McDATA, Mr. Dougherty held various
marketing, management and engineering positions at Western
Digital Corp. and Unisys Corp. Mr. Dougherty holds a BS in
Electrical Engineering from the College of New Jersey, conducted
graduate work at the University of California, Berkeley, and is
currently on the Board of Directors for the Fibre Channel
Industry Association.
