Peter Charness

PETER CHARNESS is Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, and Chief
Product Officer of JDA Software Group, Inc. Mr. Charness has had
executive responsibility for both systems and operations management with
several leading retailers. He previously served as General Manager of
Retail for Comshare. As a former Vice President of Logistics and
Technology for a major Canadian specialty chain, Mr. Charness oversaw
the implementation of world-class supply chain programs. He has also had
executive responsibility for store operations, merchandise planning and
control, replenishment, POS, warehouses and distribution centers for
various retail organizations. Mr. Charness hods a Master’s in Business
Administration from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of
Arts from York University.
