Peter Bradford

PETER BRADFORD has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Golden
Star Resources Ltd. since November 1999. He is a seasoned manager with
in excess of 20 years of operating and development experience in the
mining industry. Since 1991, he has been very active in the Ghanaian
mining industry where he has been responsible for the development and
operation of the Iduapriem gold mine, has chaired the Ghana Chamber of
Mines and has been Head of New Business for Ashanti Goldfields Company
Limited.
