Peter Blyberg

PETER BLYBERG, President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bankshares
Company and of Union Trust Company in Ellsworth, Maine, has served in a
number of positions in government, military and in the banking industry.
Before joining Union Trust Company in 1993, he worked 18 years for
Chemical Bank of New York in the Middle East, Hong Kong, and London and
New York. He has served as Chairman of the American Red Cross of Eastern
Maine, has served on the American Bankers Association Government
Relations Council, and is a Board member and past President of the Maine
Bankers Association. Currently he is serving as President of the
Bagaduce Music Lending Library. He holds degrees from the Georgetown
University School of Foreign Service, Fordham University and George
Washington University.
