Paul Voois

PAUL VOOIS, 31 has been Chairman & CEO since January, 1998. After
joining 8×8, Inc., in 1994, he led the research and development for
8×8’s ViaTV Phone which was introduced in January, 1997 as the world’s
first sub$500 set-top videophone. In January, 1997 Mr. Voois became
Executive Vice President and assumed management of 8×8’s Advanced
Technology Group, which focuses on 8×8’s core technologies such as video
and speech compression and processor architecture. Mr. Voois was born in
Kansas, USA on August 23, 1966. He received a Ph.D. and M.S. from
Stanford University in 1993 and 1989 respectively, and a B.S. from Penn
State University in 1988, all in Electrical Engineering.
