Paul G. Shorthose

PAUL G. SHORTHOSE is Chief Executive Officer, President and member of
the Board of Directors of Art Technology Group, Inc., (ATG). He was
named Chief Executive Officer in October 2001. Mr. Shorthose served as
President and Chief Operating Officer and, earlier, as Vice President of
Worldwide Services. Previous to joining ATG, he was Vice President of
Marketing and Business Development at Context Integration, a Web
solutions integrator. Mr. Shorthose drove corporate strategy and ran the
company’s Eastern region operations. During his tenure at Context
Integration, he also managed the successful relaunch of the company.
Prior to Context Integration, Mr. Shorthose was with Sybase/Powersoft,
where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Northeastern US
and Canadian regions. While there, he coordinated a services unit that
included the company’s first Internet Services group. Mr. Shorthose also
oversaw Powersoft Consulting Worldwide, Sybase Education, Sybase
Services Marketing, and the Strategic Services unit. Mr. Shorthose has
held senior sales, marketing, technology, and management positions in
the US and UK, including at Rolls-Royce, where he began his career in
technology.
