Patrick Royan

PATRICK ROYAN is Founder, President, Chief Executive Officer and
Chairman of the Board of Desana Systems. Most recently, Mr. Royan was
co-Founder and CFO of Assured Access Technology, a manufacturer of
multi-service Internet access devices that was acquired by Alcatel in
March 1999. Before founding Assured Access, Mr. Royan was Vice President
of Finance and CFO at Altantec, where he led the company through an IPO,
a secondary offering, and an acquisition by FORE Systems. Prior to
Alantec, Mr. Royan held senior management positions at several other
Silicon Valley startups.
