PATRICIA POWELL is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of The Powell Financial
Group, Inc. With over 20 years of relevant financial experience to her credit,
and an expansive resume that has made her widely recognized for her financial
expertise, she is committed to the use of comprehensive financial planning as
the means to attain financial and personal goals. Through this process, she
actively oversees over $120 million in assets and has advised on assets totaling
well over an estimated $250 million. Prior to becoming a financial planner, she
was a Vice President at one of the nation’s largest banks. She ran its
corporate-wide asset/liability management program and directed its
merger/acquisition activity. In the corporate world she worked with billions of
dollars in investments. Now, Ms. Powell works with individual clients who
typically count their assets in the millions of dollars. She holds an MBA in
Finance from Seton Hall University, as well as the Certified Financial Planner
designation. She is a frequent guest on Neil Cavuto’s Your World, Forbes on Fox
and Good Day NY. Additionally, she has been much sought after for her expert
financial commentary on a variety of shows televised on Fox News, MSNBC and CNN-
fn. She is one of the charter members of The Alliance for Wealth Management, a
group of top financial advisers who came together to think “outside the box” of
current planning techniques and concerns. She is the co-author of the book,
Creating Prosperity.
